"I'm 17 and have been learning bass guitar and acoustic with GuitarSouthWest for 2 years after a recommendation from drumshack on Lavender Hill. The first song I learned was Seven Nation Army and then Come As You Are by Nirvana and some Queen songs. Now I am playing more acoustic and learning Lana Del Ray and Jeff Buckley. Gives great advice on what strings, capos and pedals to buy too!"   (Issy G, Clapham Junction)

“I started taking lessons to learn songs by The Smiths and David Bowie. The tailored approach made all the difference—I was playing full songs much quicker than I expected.” (Alex M, Brixton)

"I came to my first lesson with some basic knowledge of open chords but we have gone through movable shapes, alternate picking and fingerpicking. Really encouraging lessons, they let me use their guitars and you always get offered a drink too, which I really appreciate in the winter." (Nicolai P, Camberwell)

"Great guitar teacher, musician and person, salt of the earth - proper good bloke. Improved my bar chords and finger control within weeks." (John F, Battersea)
